On November 18^th-22^nd, associate Prof. Brian Sorrell from School of Biology, Aarhus University, Denmark and his PhD student Solvei Jensen visited the Institute of Ecology and Biodiversity of Shandong University. On the afternoon of November 19^th, Associate Prof. Sorrel gave an academic report entitled “Paludiculture: Restoring peaty wetlands as climate change carbon sinks”. On the morning of November 20^th, academic exchanges were carried out about the physiological ecology and genetic diversity of wetland plants including presentations given by some graduate students. Meanwhile, there was a discussion on further cooperation.
